Artist Joseph Beuys noted that ‘prints are ideas in circulation’ and this is one of the inspirations for the founding of the University of Warwick Art Collection in 1965. Alongside the university, the Art Collection is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, a major survey exhibition of prints from the University Art Collection and from other museums, artists and private collectors, examines the ideas that have been explored by successive generations over the last 60 years.
