Negozio Olivetti in Venice hosts an exhibition by Lucio Fontana and Antony Gormley. A series of of drawings, workbooks, models and sculptures by Gormley is seen dialogue with work by Fontana, made between 1946 and 1968. Curated by art historian Luca Massimo Barbero, the exhibition takes place in the Olivetti store, an architectural treasure nestled into the porticoes of Piazza San Marco, designed by Carlo Scarpa. The curator proposes an exchange between the work of Fontana and the work of a contemporary artist, built around a concise and essential association of space and light found in the practices of both artists.
