The Giorgio Griffa Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of its space to the public on 24th October with a group exhibition entitled INSIDE, curated by Sébastien Delot. The exhibition connects the stories and works of seven internationally renowned artists who for years have had their studios and worked in the same building as the Foundation: Nunzio Di Stefano, Marco Gastini, Giorgio Griffa, Luigi Mainolfi, Elisa Sighicelli, Grazia Toderi, and Gilberto Zorio.

A carefully curated selection of works highlights these remarkable connections and reveals the almost unknown identity of this unique location for contemporary art: the former Michelin factory at Via Oropa 28.

The Giorgio Griffa Foundation was established in Turin in 2023 with the aim of preserving, promoting, and celebrating the work of Maestro Griffa, and contemporary art more broadly. In addition to safeguarding the artist’s Archive, the Foundation organizes exhibitions and events, develops projects, and engages in institutional activities both locally and internationally.

The Foundation’s public spaces are located at Via Oropa 28, in the lively Vanchiglietta district. This exhibition area, measuring approximately 200 square meters, occupies the ground floor of a former industrial building—once a Michelin factory—that now houses several artists' studios and has become part of the history of art not only of Turin but beyond. The Foundation aims to become a key hub for contemporary art, where each visit becomes a stimulating and unforgettable experience.
