Inquire about this work

A player piano plays a composition based on songs from The Who’s Tommy. On screen, footage from three movies with deaf, mute and/or blind characters are woven together in an allegory of sexual violence and sexual liberation. The montage juxtaposes scenes from Johnny Belinda (1948), The Story of Esther Costello (1957), The Miracle Worker (1962), and Tommy (1975).
